Reversing the Polarity from +ive to -ive Earth

1. Disconnect both wires on generator

2. Disconnect Battery and turn it around

3. Reverse terminals on Ignition Coil and Ammeter, electric fuel pump

4. Reconnect Battery

5. Take wire from +ive side of battery and arc a few times on the "Field" terminal (the smaller of the two) of the Generator. There should be a light spark each time.

6. Reconnect Generator

7. Start the car - IF IGNITION LIGHT DOES NOT GO OFF WHEN THE ENGINE IS REVVED - QUICKLY DISCONNECT THE BATTERY
